BATHING, CAMPING AND LODGING FACILITIES

BATHING FACILITIES:
We have many rock and concrete mineral water soaking pools.
Each pool is in a natural secluded outdoor
area and is maintained at between 100 and 110' F. There are retractable sun shades over
many of the
pools which are deployed during the day in
the Summer and retracted in the evening for star-gazing. One bathing area is
clothing-required; another is clothing-optional; (these are separate and private
from each other) one area is only for our overnight guests and several
pools are rented privately by the hour. Several
Private Hot Tubs are also available. The temperature of the private tubs can  be controlled
by the user. This is especially good for
those who like
 the water extremely hot or extremely cool. Most of our bathing areas are easily
accessible for the physically challenged. Several new soaking pools and a large indoor
swimming pool are planned for the near future.
BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS:
We have several nice bathrooms and showers for our overnight guests. There are
also many clean and comfortable outhouses throughout the facility.
CAMPING FACILITIES:
Faywood Hot Springs has twenty pull-through RV sites,
fifteen
have full hook-ups, the other five have power and  water and
access to our dump station. These sites can easily accommodate the largest motor
coaches. The RV sites can be doubled up and we have had as many as thirty RVs using
power and water at one time. We have numerous tent sites in several locations, some are
off by themselves, some are group sites. All tent sites are level, have a picnic
table, running water and a fire ring. There is also a large centrally located
communal fire ring. RVs that don't need power and water can also boondock at the tent sites. We have a
Club House with a large fireplace,
bathrooms, and a kitchenette, as well as a communal fire pit,  several charcoal BBQ grills,
and wonderful
showers (one is family-size) in the camping/RV area. The RV area has large shade
trees at many of the sites. RV and Tent sites include access to all public
bathing facilities from the time of arrival until 10 AM the following morning.
There is also a group of pools that is reserved only for our overnight guests.
Check in time 10 AM. Check out time 10 AM the following morning.
LODGING FACILITIES
CABINS:
We currently have six wonderful
twelve foot by twenty four foot private cabins. They are one bedroom with full bath, sleeping loft
(accessed by ladder) and all but the pet-friendly cabins have screened-in
porches. They have queen-sized beds with good reading lights and night tables on
both sides, two single or one queen-sized futon in the
sleeping lofts, kitchenettes (microwave, small under-counter refrigerator, double sink,
coffeemaker, dishes, utensils - no stove or oven), a table and two chairs, heat and air conditioning. They have private yards with picnic tables and outdoor charcoal BBQs.
The pet-friendly cabins have a completely fenced yard and a back porch, but the
porches are not screened.
The sleeping lofts are approximately eight feet by eleven
feet by three and a half feet high. They have a window and a reading light. An
adult can comfortably sit up but not stand up.
All of the cabins are a short walk from the
various pool areas. The cabin fee includes use of all public facilities (open all night) plus
one hour
of free private pool or tub time for each night you stay (reservation required). Two of our
six cabins are pet-friendly. There is an additional
charge for pets. Sorry no smoking
or candles inside the
cabins. Check in time is 1 PM. Check out time is 11 AM.

GUEST HOUSE:
Our Guest House is a two bedroom
mobile home with full bath. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed with good reading lights and night tables on
both sides. The full kitchen includes gas stove/oven, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, double sink,
coffeemaker, dishes, utensils, a table and four chairs, heat and air
conditioning. The private yard has a picnic table and an outdoor charcoal BBQ. The
Guest House fee includes use of all public facilities (open all night)
plus one hour of free private pool or tub time for each night you stay
(reservation required). Sorry no smoking or candles or pets inside the
Guest House. Check in time is 1 PM. Check out time is 11 AM.
ADOBE CABIN:
Our Adobe Cabin has one bedroom
with NO BATH (outhouse, flush toilets & showers nearby); Queen-sized bed
(linens & towels provided); coffeemaker, heat & air; private yard, picnic
table, outdoor BBQ; includes use of public pools & facilities until 11 AM
the following morning, plus one hour free in a private pool. Sorry no smoking
or candles or pets inside the Adobe Cabin. Check in time is 1 PM. Check out time is 11 AM.
