FAYWOOD HOT SPRINGS

RULES & POLICIES

Everyone entering Faywood Hot Springs must check in at the Office. A daily fee must be paid by all entrants whether or not the mineral water pools are used by that entrant.

POOL ETIQUETTE: No smoking, eating or drinking in the pools. No glass and no pets in the pool areas. No lewd behavior. No running, diving or excessive noise. No soap, lotion or oil in the pools. Everyone must respect the rights of our other guests and our employees. Anyone who creates excessive noise or causes a disturbance will be asked to leave and will forfeit future visits. If someone is asked to leave, fees will not be refunded.

CHECK OUT TIMES: Guests who spend the night in one of our cabins may stay till 11 AM. All overnight camping and RV guests must check out at 10AM the following morning. Overnight guests may stay until 10PM the following evening by vacating their camping space, moving their vehicle to the parking lot and paying the day rate for all in their party. Anyone who stays past 10AM will be charged the day use fee. All day guests must leave by 10PM. Our gates are locked from 10PM until 8AM. Special gate arrangements may be made upon request at check-in time or before 10PM. Any day guest who wishes to leave the premises and return later the same day, must stop at the Office, on the way out, to have their hand stamped or they will be denied re-admission. Day guests who wish to re-enter must show their stamped hand at the Office.

CHILDREN: We adore children, but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and must not be left unattended. Infants and toddlers, who are not potty-trained, must wear special diaper swimsuits in the pools. These can be purchased at the Office.

PETS: We welcome pets, but they are allowed only in the parking lot and in the camping areas. We also have two pet-friendly cabins. Dogs must be kept on a leash or tied at all times - away from areas where other customers pass by. Pets (except for seeing-eye dogs) are not allowed at any of the pools. Owners must clean up after their pets.

HANDICAPPED PARKING: We have a limited number of parking spaces for the physically challenged. Permission to use these spaces must be granted by the Office for each visit.

VISITORS: Everyone who enters Faywood Hot Springs must pay to be here. Any paying guest who meeting a non-paying visitor must arrange to meet in the parking lot.

RENTALS: A reasonable deposit will be required for all rented items such as swimsuits and towels. This deposit will be returned when the rented item is returned in good condition.

CAMPFIRE REGULATIONS: We have a limited number of areas designated for campfires. Fires may not be built in any other area. Please do not strip our trees or other vegetation for campfires. Firewood can be purchased at the Office. During droughts, fires may be banned everywhere on the property. No fires during windy conditions!

QUIET TIME: All public areas will observe a quiet time between the hours of 10PM and 8AM. We ask that all noise be kept to a minimum. No generators, loud music or constant dog barking  during these hours.

LOST AND FOUND: All items that are found at Faywood Hot Springs, and turned in to the Office, will be held for a period of one week. After one week, items will be donated to the charity of our choice. Call the Office if you have left an item at Faywood Hot Springs. If properly identified, the item will be held for pick up or it will be shipped to the owner when full payment for shipping is received.

TIMELY PAYMENT OF FEES: All guests must pay, in advance, for their planned stay.

All reservations must be accompanied by a MasterCard or Visa credit card. All cancellations must be made at least 10 days before the reservation date. Your credit card will be charged ten days prior to your reserved day of arrival. If you cancel your reservation within the time allowed (ten days prior to the day of the reservation) your credit card will only be charged a ten dollar processing fee. If your reservation is not cancelled within the required time period, or you fail to show up, your credit card will be charged the full amount of your reservation. 

No cancellation is permitted on same-day lodging and private pool reservations. If you do not show up, your credit card will be charged for the services you reserved.

Due to the large demand for lodging on holidays, we require a 2-day minimum stay.

LATE ARRIVALS: As a small family establishment, we close our office (and lock our gates) at 10 PM.

GATES: Our entire facility is fenced and gated. Our gates are locked from 10 PM to 7 AM every day/night. Please make special arrangements at the Office to enter or exit Faywood Hot Springs during these times.

TIME ZONES: When making "time sensitive" reservations, please keep in mind that New Mexico is in the Mountain Time Zone. Arizona and New Mexico are in the same time zone, except during daylight-savings-time, when Arizona is 1 hour behind New Mexico.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.

ALCOHOLIC DRINKS BEFORE OR DURING SOAKING IS NOT ADVISED.

WE DO NOT ALLOW FIREWORKS, FIREARMS OR ILLEGAL DRUG ON THE PREMISES.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO EJECT ANYONE WHO DOES NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES.
